Client Challenge

The Enterprise Ammunition (AMMO) Other Transaction Authority (OTA) effort aimed to integrate and automate End-to-End (E2E) supply chain system for Class V materials (munitions) through a comprehensive commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software solution.

Groundswell’s Solution

Our SAP S/4HANA AMMO solution planned, tracked, accounted, audited, and managed the supply and distribution of Class V munitions worldwide, but also integrated enduring logistics, finance, transportation, and quality management systems to provide a more cohesive and efficient process for ammunition management and delivery.

Impact Made

In February 2020, Telesto became the lead systems integrator to produce a prototype for the U.S. AMMO Supply Chain System solution. We successfully created an integrated and automated end-to-end supply chain system for Class V (munitions) to meet joint, operational, accountability, visibility, and auditability requirements.
